The risk profile of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is quite well established now, making reliable risk estimates at the individual level possible. In the European Consortium EYE-RISK, we have developed a prediction model which is accessible by internet and which includes genetic and biomarker testing as well as deep phenotyping. The outcome includes personalized recommendations for risk reduction by lifestyle adjustments.
