Keratoconus update: pathogenesis, diagnostics, therapy

Keratoconus is the most common ectatic corneal disease. Untreated, it can lead to massive visual impairment and even blindness. Causes, origination, and development of the disease are still widely unknown. A newly discovered biomarker may bring new insights into the pathogenesis of keratoconus. Prof. Dr. Jesper Hjortdal will present the latest findings.
