DOG-Update

With DOG-Update – State of the Art, in 2013 the DOG established a new training program for ophthalmologists in clinics and private practice. This program offers attendees a compact and effective means of up-dating on the latest scientific and research developments.

Selected experts present – in a lively manner using interactive elements – the results of the most important international publications of the previous 10 – 15 months. They also evaluate the latest findings and place them in a practice-oriented ­context.

This provides comprehensive refresher training for par­ti­cipants in addition to specific recommendations for diagnostics and therapy in the clinic and private practice. In total, 10 topics in blocks of 45 minutes will take place on ­Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. At the end of every two blocks, the speakers are ­available to answer questions, ­discuss and exchange knowledge.
The program including a handout is free for registered congress participants. No separate registration is required.

The sessions are continuously accompanied by a team of moderators who place the individual presentations in an ­overall ­context.
